National ‘Support Your Surgery’ Petition
If you are concerned, as the vast majority of GPs are, about the current government plans for polyclinics and the threat they pose to the future of traditional General Practice then please sign the national petition at the surgery. Alternatively sign the on-line petition here.
The petition is to be presented to the Prime Minister on 12 June. We hope to put pressure on the government to stop a fatally flawed policy that risks forcing up to 20% of surgeries to close. (See our latest newsletter for more details).
On 9th May Lord Darzi the government minister driving these ill thought out reforms said on Radio 4’s Today programe that patients views on local services will be listened to. Please make sure that they hear what you, our patients, want.
