How do I access GP Appointments via my television?
Once you have received your Practice ID, Access ID and password (for details of how to obtain these click here) you will be ready to use the interactive services provided by your local authority via the interactive button on your digital TV.  Once accessed these services will allow you to book and cancel appointments as well as order repeat  prescriptions.

Looking Local on SKY
* Press the Interactive button on your remote
* Select SKY Active from the menu
* Press the yellow button on your remote
* Select Info & Services from the menu
* Select Looking Local
* Select your preferred area or use the postcode search


Looking Local on NTL/Telewest
* Press Interactive
* Chose News & Info
* Chose Community
* Chose Looking Local
* Chose region/area



How do I access GP Appointments via my G3 mobile phone?
Looking Local on 3 Mobile

We are live on mobile, with our first launch point available via 3 Mobile. The access path for this via a 3 handset is:
* Services
* Websites
* Look up Stuff
* Looking Local

Alternatively you can however type in the URL to any GPRS/WAP phone -

http://www.digitv.gov.uk/digitv/cds/LookingLocal/3/home. Most service providers will make a charge for this service.

 
What do I do then?
Once you have access the local authority microsite use the menu to find the GP Appointments Service. The easy way to do this is to select the a-z and input GP.

        1. Select the GP Appointment Service from the menu.
        2. Input your registration details and select "sign in"
        3. Select book to make your appointment.
        4. Select your appointment date.
        5. Select the surgery you wish to attend.
        6. Select the required appointment time and the doctor you want to see.
        7. Confirm your appointment.
        8. Make a note of your booking.

You can now book another appointment or cancel the one you have just made. To amend or cancel this appointment follow steps 1 to 3.
