Training at Bramcote Surgery

The surgery maintians close links with Nottinghan University and is involved  in the training of medical staff.

GP Registrars:
From tim to time we have a GP registrar attached to the practice. A GP Registrar is a fully qualified doctor with several years of hospital experience who intends to pursue a career in general practice. The Registrar will spend a year undergoing training in general practice under the supervision of a GP trainer.

Medical Students:
We often have medical students from Nottingham University with us on placement. The students need to talk to and examine patients in order to learn.  This is always under the supervision of a GP. You will always be advised when they are in the surgery and are free not to have them in your consultation or to ask them to leave at any time.
